Windows pile up.
You look for windows first.
These moments don't need a “more powerful productivity tool”. They need a smoother gesture.
Drag to the screen edge
Hold the window across the whole screen, not knowing the result until you release.
Memorize a shortcut sheet
One combo per zone. Your hand has to leave the trackpad before the window moves.
Start over when it's wrong
The ratio is wrong after dragging. You drag it back — arranging windows becomes the work.
One swipe is enough.
Everything starts at the title bar. No settings first, no per-app setup.
Halves and corners
Swipe one direction for a half; add another direction for a corner.
12-column width
Step from 1/12 to full width. Split the sidebar and main area as you like.
Auto-fill
Place one window, and recent windows fill the remaining space.
Esc to undo
Press Esc within five seconds to put every moved window back.
After arranging, keep adjusting.
Gestures place windows; layout and appearance handle the rest.
Resize two windows
In a two-pane layout, drag the vertical divider to resize both sides together.
You choose what fills the rest
After moving a window, choose where the other windows go.
One screen, no memorizing.
Two fingers on the trackpad, or one on Magic Mouse. The direction decides where the window goes.
| Gesture | Result | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ← / → | Left half / Right half | Keep the swipe horizontal to add columns |
| ↑ / ↓ | Top half / Bottom half | Add another direction for a quarter |
| ← ↑ / ↑ ← | Top-left ¼ | Any two-direction combination works |
| ↑ → ↓ ← | Rotate through corners | Fastest way to reposition without lifting |
| ↑ ↑ | Maximize | Keeps menu bar and Dock space |
| ↓ ↓ / ↓ ↓ ↓ | Restore / Minimize | Keep adjusting after restoring |
| ESC | Undo | Valid for 5 seconds; multi-window steps back one at a time |

Gridly · one-time purchase
One-time purchase- Every snapping gesture, nothing held back
- Every future update included
- One-click activation
- One license, one Mac — activation cannot be moved once bound
Your license key and activation link are emailed to you right after payment.
Questions you may have.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Every gesture is unlocked for 14 calendar days, counted from the first time you open Gridly on that Mac — not from the days you actually use it. When the time is up the gestures stop and the menu bar says why. Nothing else about your Mac changes and nothing is uninstalled. Deleting the app and installing it again does not reset the clock.
How do I activate it? What if I lose the key?
After payment, your license key and a one-click activation link are emailed to the address you entered at checkout. The key is paired with that address, so use one you actually read. One license activates one Mac and cannot be moved once bound. If a repair changes that Mac’s device identifier, email us and we will sort it out.
Why does it need Accessibility permission?
macOS only lets apps with Accessibility permission read and modify other apps’ windows. Gridly uses it to work out which window is under your fingers and to move that window — nothing else. Without it, the menu bar shows “not authorized” and the gesture does nothing.
Will it clash with my current window manager?
Usually not. Gridly registers no global shortcuts; it only watches for title-bar swipes — two fingers on a trackpad, or one finger on a Magic Mouse — which is a different path from shortcut-based or drag-to-edge tools.
Can I use it on another Mac?
Each license activates 1 Mac, and activation cannot be moved once bound. Reinstalling macOS, erasing the disk, or restoring the same Mac from a backup can be re-activated with your license email without using another seat. If a repair changes the device identifier, contact us and we will help.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Submit a refund request within 14 days of purchase by writing to support@yangbyte.com. Creem returns the payment to the original method. If something is wrong, you can also contact us first and we will help you sort it out.
